Shirley Ann Sylvester (7.12.39–12.1.23) 84, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. Shirley spent the last four months at Trinity Health & Rehabilitation Center, after spending most of her adult life in Central Falls.

Growing up, she enjoyed roller skating, and traveling, but many family and friends will remember her love for reading, crafting, and lighthouses. Those close to Shirley knew how strong, caring, beautiful and witty she was.
Shirley is now reunited with her parents; Carlton and Gertrude Vose, brother; Carlton Vose, and her children; James Sylvester and Joanne Hornsby.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving companion; Arthur Jean, her children; Judy Machado and her husband Joe Machado, Jay Sylvester and his wife Tracy Sylvester, nephews; Jesse Vose and Cartlon Vose, grandsons; John Viveiros and his wife Crystal Viveiros, Christopher Sylvester and his wife Jennifer Sylvester and Andrew Sylvester, granddaughter; Jenn Machado, and great grandson; Jackson Viveiros.

Her funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd STE 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
